Hi all, I wanted to do an engine swap with my current 1991 Volvo 740, it has a B230F inline 4 8 valve which i've been wanting to get rid of. I had suggestions of 16 valve and24 valve engines from volvo but i wasnt sure if they would fit in nice. I'll consider anything that fits in well but i would mainly like a volvo engine. Please help, thanks.

 

Anything is possible.There is plenty of room in the 200/700/900 engine bay for any motor you choose to put in there. I think the inline-six motor from a 960 would be sweet.You should check out TurboBricks.com. They have a bunch of people over there doing crazy swaps, and high power 8v motors. Personally, I would build up the B230F plus T and have somefun smoking people with there big block chevys. Good luck.
