what kind of volvo is this turbo off of? I bought it but the cbv or whatever valve is located on the compressor housing is damaged, it is crushed in a little. also the wastegate actuator is missing. The nameplate says volvo but i can't read hardly any of the numbers and i know the compressor housing says volvo. that bov or cbv has a mitsubishi symbol on it and it looks similar to the other mitsubishi turbos that i have found for volvos but i need some more info. what vehicle it came of. is that the factory cbv or bov. or what exactly is that valve on the compressor housing... thanks!!

Does look like a Mitsu turbo.
The valve should be the Bypass valve/BOV

Sorry they were on the 740 and 940 cars.

 

What's the worse that could happen if he forced it on? Would it break the engine? Sorry I am new to the aftermarket mod thing but learning[8D].
