Default turbo conversions?

This may sound dumb but tell me if it isnt. Is there anyway to somehow turn a 98 S90 into a turbo ? or even a supercharger. i dont plan on trying i was just curious?

To answer your question truthgully, yes it is possible. However...

1. You need to buy a turbo
2. You need to have a downpipe made
3. You need to have a catback system made
4. You need an intercooler
5. You need vaccum lines
6. You need intercooler hardpipes
7. You need couplers
8. You would need a boost gauge among other things
9. Exstensive ECU tuning, tuning in general

It can be done but it will cost big bucks to do.

I am not going to say don't do it. Because it would be sweet to see a s90 that was turboed. But I know it will take a lot of money, a lot of time and a lot of paitents to do it.

Perhaps I'm wrong, but a full swap (complete engine and ecu) might work. I'm not certain but the S90 seems alot like the S70, so perhaps a possible donor vehicle? If that's true, then you could probably get both for under $1200. Exhaust and instrumentation would be extra.

I was hoping to one day find a wrecked S80 T6 and use it as a donor car to make a TT S90/960.
But it would be a major project car.
