I have a really beautiful 95 850 turbo - it is in shockingly good condition. I just turned 100000 miles on it.
I am having a few issues with it, my turbo is whining and there is a rattle that happens when i start the car cold.. I
I am going to check the turbo bearing where i get home but im wondering if anyone here have any recommendations for repair shops in the area?

 

How far up the Hudson Valley are you? There's a Volvo dealer in White Plains that I've gone to before. However, even though I'm closer to that shop, I cross the Tappan Zee bridge into NJ and go to Prestige Volvo of Englewood. I highly recommend them ... good people and fair price. It might be a hike for you, but they have a nice waiting room and courtesy cars as well, so even if you have to leave your 850, you can still get around. Good luck.
