How to sell a volvo
I've had a Volvo s70 2000 for 7 years now and looking to sell it. It has 240,000 miles and has some issues: check engine light occasionally goes on, power steering issue (likely rack and pinion, or maybe I fixed a small leak with the new fluid I added), needs blow motor replaced or reattached, no antenna (causing a 10 second weird sound to go on everytime I turn the radio on), and needs an inspection. I'll be moving to NYC and also don't have the money for the repairs (struggling graduate student with loans), so I'm looking to sell it.
Does anyone have advice on how to go about selling it? Seems like it could be a great car for a mechanic or summer project. I heard volvo parts can cost a bit, but not sure how I would go about selling a car for parts. I've listed it on Facebook and Craigslist now and that's it.

Facebook has been my go to for selling cars. Craigslist has kind of fell off for me because I do not like putting my contact info out there just to get tons of spam inquiries. FB has its own messaging system and you can review someones profile to make your own judgement before meeting with them.
I personally like the S70s and its a generation of volvo that people are actually interested in and wont mind repairing.
I posted my old S60 on FB and it sold within a few days for the price I asked for. Sure I got some dumb inquiries and the typical "is this available" messages, but it's much easier to weed out the people that actually are interested.
