Ok, I'm in. New Volvo S60 owner as of aaah... about an hour from now:-) Actually, it's the wife's ride. So we get to test out the AWD as we slip slide our way home. Traded a '99 A4. Couldn't take the crap service from Audi any more. If you're in the Metro West area of Boston, watch 'em like a hawk. Cheating b-stards! Hopefully the Volvo experience will be much more pleasurable. I'll let ya know.

My buddy goes to Gallo and has nothing but good things to say. We got the S60 at Farrel. A little closer for us and also had good references. The sales experience was good.

So, I love the S60. Far better car than the '99 Audi A4. It isn't getting the gas milage I tought i would. But we still only have about 1000 miles. Hopefully it get's a little better over time.

I had a bad experience with Gallo when I had a Saturn so I won't go there for service. Farrell did an okay job for me but rotated my tires and put mismatched tires (a temporary situation at the time) on the front resulting in massive shaking and now my dash vibrates at high speeds.

I had real good luck at Inskip in Warwick RI when my sunroof's controller died and left the sunroof in the open position.

128 Volvo!!! are you kidding me? I wouldn't take a vacuum cleaner there for service. Definitely stay away from those idiots. While the car's in warranty you have no choice but to take it to the stealer (except for oil changes, etc.). I don't have any personal service experience with them but many folks swear by Boston Volvo Village in Allston. When your car's out of warranty take a road trip to Precision Auto up in Rowley. All they do is Volvos and I wouldn't take my cars anywhere else.
