Default 240 motor in a 960 wagon?

Does anyone know how to put a 1987 240 motor into a 1994 960 wagon? I know the physical aspect but am a bit perplexed about the electronics. Is there wiring harness issues and what about the jetronics? The interference 960s 6 cyl motor had a call from the timing belt troll and you can guess the results. That's why I got the car for pennies. I was going to cut the rear quarter from it to fix a softly crashed 940 turbo also a 94. Both the 940 and 960 are in extremely nice condition and both happen to be the same color, dark blue. I need to fix one of them to drive. I also have a 87 240 with a low mileage motor.

The reason I would like to use the 240 motor in the 960 is the 940 has a very nice 4 cyl turbo. A few years ago my son put a 1986 240 motor with an automatic in a 1920 Hudson roadster streetrod project car we're building. We would love to put the Turbo in the Hudson. That is a simple exchange. I have considerable experience with 240s but have never much messed with the 940 and 960. My understanding is the 940 and 240 are very similar drive trains. I have no experience with 960s as I was told of their poisonous ways many years ago. See ya 960 6 cyl with the DOHC and hello old reliable 240... Can anyone offer some insight as to the electronics and fuel configurations?
Thanks, Dwain
