Am I the only one that gets a rash from touching the front engine bay on these volvo'

Am I the only one that gets a rash from touching the front engine bay on these volvo'
It doesnt matter if its my car or one at the junkyard. Its like the front plastic that covers the radiator gives off almost a fiberglass fiber.
Every time I have gotten on the radiator support to do anything I get itchy forearms.
I thought it was just old cars that had been exposed but since I did a radiator replacement yesterday I found out the same thing happens with mine.
Must lay a towel or something down before touching it and I still had what looked like a good rash on me when I was done.
had to scrub the crap out of my arms to get the itch to go away.
just like fiberglass insulation.
