Any gamers on here like me? I used to be real big into Xbox 360 but recently I sold my massive bundle of games, controllers, etc and bought a PS3 and Wii. So far I haven't had much time to play either or buy many games. I love playing online and I'm trying to find some people to game with online. I only have 1 friend on PS3 so far and it's my brother-in-law

 

I dont play much anymore.

 

I used to be a geek but not anymore. I haven't even finished Final Fantasy-X and my used PS2 is covered with dust.

Ditto, used to also play Unreal tournament and of course Halo and Halo2 a ton.. Not so much anymore.. Too much traveling for work, but i do crank the 360 everyonce in a while.

 

LOL...It's been awhile for me too but I'm trying to get into the PS3 more. Right now it just gets used for Blu-Ray's for the most part. Love bowling on the Wii though...lol

 

I wish I could have a PS3 or 360, but like everyone else...I've slowly declined into nothingness. The last game I really played was The World Ends With You for the DS. It's one of the few DS games that doesn't make you want to burn it. I know Call of Duty 4 for the PS3 is amazing.

 

I HATE the 360. I think it is a serious piece of SH*T! I have never owned a unit which has had SOOOO MANY problems before. We actually have owned 4 different units and all of them broke withn in the two years we owned them. And what sucks is you buy a warrenty, which you will use in a few months when one brakes, and then you get a new one, which you buy a new warrenty for the "new" 360, and then that one brakes in another month! I got sick of dealing with it that I sold the thrid one to my brother, and now he is on the fourth one (and ELITE) which is known to FAIL in the first year.
STAY AWAY! With all of the time and money I wasted on that SH*T, I could have done alot more performance stuff for my car.
The PS3 is A LOT better, and it is cheaper. It is built like a tank and dosent overheat like the 360s do when you play for more than a few hours.
I like PC games the best, for they offer the best player feedback, and will always look better then a standalone unit. Plus they are cheaper then the units.

 

I don't really play PC anymore, but when I do, it's either Mechwarrior, Star Wars Jedi Knight, Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds, or Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic. Yes, I'm a Star Wars nerd...but those games really are fun!

 

I'm playing a new game. It's called "Trade to Save Your Life". You start with ten year's worth of monopoly money. Then you pay $7 a turn to try and trade your way out of financial ruin. There's only a 1 in 1000 chance of winning, which is what makes it so much fun. :kickself:

I'd like to be present when Bernanke creates some wealth. Do you think there's a magic wealth wand he waves over the newly printed green paper? Capitalists tell me it trickles down from the top, so I guess that's how it must work. Otherwise they've all been lying to me and capitalism is just a wealth redistribution scheme: from the bottom where workers create it to the top where do-little-or-nothing bureaucrats and executives waste it. But nah, that can't be it... this is a "free-market" society. :kickselfsomemore:

Unreal Tournament FTW! I'm a computer geek turned entrepreneur... so I have little time anymore to relax with a good FPS. Played Everquest from beta through EQ2.. buncha other stuff - quake / halo.. RvB is hilarious.. starting to feel / get old and grey these days..

 

Ha ha. I want to play Unreal Tournament...just haven't had the money or time. Star Wars Jedi Knight 2 and 3 are fun to modify. There's a site (www.filefront.com) that has an entire section devoted to these mods. Imagine playing a Star Wars game where Wolverine kills Darth Vader. :P

I really like Mechwarrior for the PC.

 

Dude.. mechwarrior is the shizznit. that game forced me to upgrade my joystick..(heh) and the throttle control to the thrustmaster stuff... total pwnage

 

I used to use an F-14 Talon (Talon is the company name) joystick...but it busted. So I went to Wal-Mart and bought some cheap joystick. I did see this one gaming station that totally pwn'd. Gaming keyboard, joystick, throttle, wheel...awesome monitor too.
