Question Which Car Should I Take???

I am going out of town soon and I'm having a hard time deciding which car to take.

In one hand I have the S70 GLT, which is a VERY COMFORTABLE car. It is fast, fun to drive and did I mention comfortable? The front seats are among the most comfortable I have ever sat in. It is also red, very good looking car.

On the other hand I have my Yellow 850 R. It has the Titans all around, I just cleaned up the paint (touched up), it looks good, I just tinted the windows and the only other time I had it on the road was when I picked it up from NYC a couple of months ago with a 14 year old timing belt on it (since replaced). I was really taking it easy. Now I think I have a bad motor mount on the right side that is scheduled to be replaced after my trip.

One of my stops will be near the Charlotte North Carolina Race Track. http://www.lowesmotorspeedway.com/ I am thinking about stopping by there and run the track with one of these STOCK cars to check their official times. Rumor has it that they even let people run the oval track that is rated at something like 197 MPH. Which no one has ever reached. I would like to know what it feels like to break 125 or so without worrying about loosing my license. (I'm really afraid to drive over 80 MPH on the freeway).

So, with that being said, what do you guys think? Should I take the Cool Rare Yellow T-5R for the world to see and maybe get to ENJOY the open road with it. Or take the more comfortable Red S70 GLT that is also fun to drive with a little better gas milage? (If my 960 was not in the shop I would have a really tough decission because that is a very good car on the road).

Take the 850. If you really feel like having comfort, swap chairs for the ride. You should have fun with your boost

I would have voted for the Yellow R, but you said it might have a bad motor mount. The idea of going flat out at LMS with a bad motor mount doesn't sound like something I would want to try.

Therefore I voted for the S70 GLT. Plus it's RED.

I don't understand why you say the S70 is more comfortable that the 850? I find mine to be just the opposite. I think the 850's are more comfortable than my 98 V70 GLT. Wonder what the difference is? Unless we need the wagon for something we never take the V70. I voted yellow on too.

Personally, I would take the Jeep, you can put the top down. I don't know about taking it on the track though.

Oops, I just looked at your pictures, would be kinda hard to put the top down on that Jeep. I'd go Yellow.

The seats in the S70 GLT are built a little different. They are a little softer and feel great. I think the weak mount in the 850 is transmitting some vibration in the cabin and it has low profile tires (45's). Now the 850 has new tires and they are balanced so the ride is smooth in it as well.

The Jeep is a Grand Cherokee so no hole up top.

I wish I could edit this poll. Once it's set up you can't do anything to it.

Default I took the Yellow R. It was fun from the word GO!!!

Well, as most suggested, I took the Yellow R. It was fun from the time I left home. We had the thing loaded to the ground and it did not complain at all.

It's the 1st time I owned a fast car, other than my wife's Honda Prelude. The funiest part of driving is when you go to make a move to go around someone on the freeway. When they try to speed up so you don't get in front of them it's just a joke. Put a little pressure on the gas and you go right by without any struggle. "Nice try but not with the Yellow one". They will think again next time.

The Race Track was a lot of fun as well. I was really blessed to be at one of the smallest crowds of all times. There was probably 21 registered drivers there when we started and maybe 40 by the time I left about 80 mins. into it. I must have ran down that track 7 or 8 times. Then we watched others run down the track for a little while. The fastest was a motorcycle. It did about 9.016 and 150.420. Off the chain.
