FIREFOX is by far much better then IE.

FireFox ALL THE WAY! I've actually been using it since it was called Phoenix...and Firebird


I still have IE on my computer, but only because i haven't felt like taking the time to use Nlite to slipstream it out of my WinXP disk

IE kept crashing time after time after time yesterday, son had used firefox for an online class he was taking. I thought HMMM let's give it a try ( I already used it at work) and guess what, NOOOO more crashes the rest of the day. Bye Bye IE, Heeellloooo firefox.

I use a combination of Mozilla, Safari and Opera.

Don't really like FF's UI.

IE isn't even worth using, except for sites which wont work with anything else.

Every computer (with win XP) i've tried to delete IE out of ends up getting pissy. Curious

It's so hardwired into the OS it's not possible really. MS has gotten into trouble for the same thing with Media player so lets hope they have to remove IE dependance.

i was able to remove IE in the copy of XP i'm running and i love it, the only problem is that you're screwed when you try to go to a site that REQUIRES IE

nope...even when i had IE, i didn't even use the Windows Update site...i use this one which is SOOOO much better:

i have it on one of my flash drives...i take it everywhere i go with me and if a computer i'm on doesn't have FF, just stick in the drive and i've got it

i got pretty close to it...i couldn't have Linux as my primary OS though...too many little problems...
