Happy Easter......

 

I had an interesting Easter morning. So after breakfast, I hear a noise, but paid no mind. About a minute later I looked out side and seen a car in the ditch and two kids standing outside the car. No sooner than I made sure the kids were OK, and got the old Chevy Truck out of the garage, the Highway Patrol was there..........





I offered to pull them out of the ditch..............





Shortly after, the one kid's dad showed up with his truck and trailer. He said for me to yank it out since he had to unhook. The car came right out after I put it in 4X4 and the kid got a ticket while the dad pulled the car up to his trailer........



Nobody was hurt!

 

Ha ha. I got another story. I play trombone in my the second varsity band at my high school. Well, our biggest competition of the year was on Thursday. So we pile up into two buses and leave. As many of you know, buses have horrible suspension, so it lurches everytime it stops. We got to a stop sign where school property ends. Then we feel a second, bigger lurch. A band mate said it was a tire blow-out...actually...a senior who had just gotten off from baseball practice rear-ended the bus. His 90's Honda Civic coupe looked fine, til you noticed that almost all of the front end was under the bus and leaking antifreeze...

He was texting and driving with his knee. He also claimed that it's hard to see anything that's yellow...

...and Happy Easter guys!

 

I didn't have a big Easter dinner with ham. I'm doing Re-Easter this weekend!

 

You got to color eggs, right?

 

Neither did I as I had to work, but someone did hide a few eggs in my VOLVO

 

That's what I'm going to do. . . I'll buy some left-over Easter Egg coloring kits and we'll do that. My friend is making a ham and we're going to a show in Phoenix on Sat night. It'll be awesome getting dressed up with multi-colored arms and fingers from the dye. Did I mention there will be champagne? Mimosas in the morning, (or bloody's), but champagne later for sure.

 

Skipped the mimosas and bloodys. Straight to the Leinenkugel's Berry Weiss and ham and mashed potatoes. Later some pink champagne, (sparkling wine technically)... Made it to the show, super fun.

My favorite part, coloring Re-Easter eggs! My sister's in jail at the moment, (long story), but I made her an egg! Her nickname is SA. (it says FREE SA, if you can't see it)
