I got my hands on a HP DV6000 Laptop that does not power on. When it's plugged in all 3 lights at the edge of the computer are lit. The power, charge, and CD drive. Then, when I press the power button the lights at the base of the display all light up for about 1 or 2 seconds and the hear a slight wind down sound as if the fan tried to kick on. Then the computer goes dark for about 2 seconds and starts to try to power up again. It will sit there and cycle forever.

So I google it and the first thread I find on some HP forum has about 27,485 views. I guess this is a common problem. LOL All kinds of different suspected fixes for it. I'm trying the freezer fix right now. If anyone knows better let me know. I already replaced the processor with one from eBay.
