badly designed, badly made, terrible fuel consumption, terrible reliability, NO where near being powerfull.
go search youtube for hummer prangs, they fail miserably.

I think Canadian army most using this car for there safety. Very comfortable also and best drive for any types of road.

 

I do agree that Hummer is a good option depending on the likes of a different people but taking about a safety point of view I doubt it. There is nothing like a strong or powerful but it is the intensity of the collision that renders as the deciding factor.
