Hoping to help my brother and sister-in-law keep their XC70 going strong

Just registered so I can do some reading about the XC70. My brother and his wife have an '06 XC70 AWD (the Volvo Ocean Race special edition) that just rolled 114k miles. It's in pretty darn good shape, but has a couple of issues that I figured I could figure out if I found a good forum. Hopefully this one will do the trick.

Welcome to the forum. You will find quite a bit of help around here. Goodluck on the XC70. A 2006 with 114k on the clock already? Someone had driven that thing a bunch.

They've actually been in the Volvo fold for a while - this is their 3rd straight wagon (preceded by an 850 and a V70R AWD). My interest this time is to keep them in this wagon (which they will own in a few months) rather than trading in yet again and starting yet another car payment.
