Ok I don’t know the full story and admittedly this is probably considered spam but I just cant take it any more. Speed is talking about canceling WRC. Claiming, "no one was watching it anyway". Never mind that the time slots are practically impossible to watch 11pm on Sunday and 11am Monday. They will fill the slots with you guessed it more NASCAR. I think a backlash has long been coming. I basically don’t watch "Speed" anymore anyway.

Everyone is signing a petition on the s14.net board and I think we should do the same. Let the Bricks speak!

WRC? Is that rally racing? Get a DVR and record it, or tape it, or DVD-record it. If the ratings are showing not enough people are watching it, they will remove it. It is how it works.

 

Not to get on a tirade, we know how it works... the problem is its on at rediculous hours. They cant replace one show in primetime during the week with WRC? I really think if they would show it at a resonable time, it would be watched.

Enough with so much NASCAR already...

 

I don't like NASCAR either. However that is when they show the program. I mean you could write to them and complain about it. You can solve it with two things.

1. Tape it
2. DVR it

Or a third possible is not watch it at all. No one forces you to watch it at those weird times. You have the choice not to watch it.

 

They are canceling it as in no mas, no more, nada over. Can’t tape cant DVR Tivo or any other anachronism for that matter.
I thought there might be world rally fans here but i guess not. What do you guys watch? Any motor related stuff?[>:]

Why would I not watch what I like? The ratings were bad enough already. Just replace one of the NASCAR shows with WRC to see. Im sure with the popularity of cars like the STI and EVO, it would have caught on.

I think one of the best shows is Victory by Design.

 

Ok so watch it, but don't complain when it airs on TV at odd times.

 

I love to watch WRC but about the only times I do is when I catch it by accident Those guys are by far the best drivers, and I mean car control, risk management, etc., in the world. In my opinion. I used to love NASCAR, hey, I'm from North Carolina, but its starting to wear thin. Go Mark Martin!

 

they really should call it the nascar channel....

 

I usually only watch two channels on tv. the first is speed tv for Sports Car Revolution, WRC, F1, Le Mans, Moto GP, Victory by Design, and anything else that isn't nascar. The second channel I watch is OLN because they are the only network that covers bicycle racing. There are simmilar problems with both of these networks, 1. they dont seem to give programs a chance (showing WRC at 11pm on a sunday night for example) 2. They have no competition so they really can do what they want and we will still watch because there isn't much of anything else we can watch. If somebody makes out a petition I would be happy to sign.

I'm glad there are people out there that share my same intrests. We need to show the network that we exist!

 

I like OLN also because once in a great while they will show Cross Country motorcycle and four-wheeler racing.

 

and OLN shows hockey...
