Product recalls
These kinda bug me in that me, as a consumer pays my money for a product. Then find that this product is either defective or dangerous and is then subject to a recall by the manufacturer. You take this product to a drop off location, or discard it as told to do. Now here’s my gripe. The manufacturer still has my money and I no longer have my product. Then, THEN the government slaps the manufacturer with a fine for a bizikilloin dollars. Where does THAT money go?
So the manufacturer is allowed to sell me a product, get my money then tell me to throw it away and not give me back my money. No where on any recalled product website do they address the financial impact this has on consumers. www.cpsc.gov is the source that I use for all product recalls. Believe me there are way more recalls than just what you see on the news.
The news stations do not address this issue wither of financial impact.

The mankind has not learned anything from the history thus accidents & tragedies keep happening. Maybe Mike Moore could tell us more about it.
