As some might already notice I cannot get on here nearly as much.

I am out of the house now atleast 12 hours a day now that I am working.

I leave at 7:30 and do not get home till about the same time that night.

It is getting harder and harder to get on here as much even after getting home at night.

I am trying the best I can to get back on here.

Also at the moment I do not receive e-mails when I get a private message so I cannot know at the moment I have a PM it I do not sign on.

But to every one If I miss something I will try my best to get to it or reply again and hopefully that time I can see it.

I think tech is going through Volvoforums withdrawal. He needs his fix of helping all us guys who don't know what they would do without him.

Sure hope things are going well at work!!

I can no longer get on at work, so I'm not on near as much either. Moved my cube to an area where everybody sees me and the boss said something to me about it.

Well to add to this I have been sick the entire last week and haven't been able to get on till today.

But I still cannot work through 13 pages today.

So if anyone reading this needed help and I missed the post please put something in the post to move it back to the top and I will see it.

I too, have been out of the forum for a while as there has been a lot going on in my mind (being threatened by a new dixx-head manager, etc...LOL ). I also got sick and was disabled for a week or so.

Anyway, take care of you & your family first. We'll try our best to cover your absence and I shall resort to my punch + hammer strategy.

Likewise, I've been off of here for a while, and not getting email updates on posts either for some reason.

In my case I'm back in school full time and still looking for work up here in Detroit (16 months and counting...)

Monday we got word my wife's company is likely to close soon as well, so we're really getting into a pickle now.

I had to list our XC90 for sale and put it up on cars.com, hopefully it will find a new home fairly quickly so we can get out from under the payment. If anyone's interested I posted a link to the ad in the for sale section of the forum.

Once my first semester of grad school is done I hope I can be back on here a bit more, a lot of good folks I enjoy chatting with


Congrats on the new job, Tech, JPN, no more sick time for you... get to work!!! (kidding of course.)

Thanks for your encouragement.

I have realised that all too often it is the right people (productive with high work ethics) that get laid off first. Those who are left intact, as far as Japan is concerned, are nothing more than unskilled people who got their jobs through their parents' connections/powers, lol.

I hope the right company finds you soon. The first company would be the lucky one to hire you.
