Swapping a D6 370hp volvo from DPH drive to V drive
Hi again,
as I had no reply from anyone, I am re posting my question with the hope to get a reply.
Wondering if anybody knows if its possible to turn a Volvo D6 370hp attached to a DPH sterndrive, over to an inboard application using a ZF 85 IV electronically controlled transmission? I was told that this cant be done as the ECU software of the engine cant be reconfigured.
Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Although the transformation is technically possible with the appropriate modifications, it could prove to be complex and expensive. A thorough consultation with experts and professionals in marine mechanics is strongly recommended before proceeding.
