I am interested to see how many people would be willing to meet up in the Knoxville, TN area and have a few cruises on US 129 "the Dragon."


I would like to potentially start getting a list of names together for a spring or summer meet.


There are many public parks in the area that we could have a BBQ, throw a football around, and generally kick back and talk about our cars.

Man, I would LOVE to do this and trailer my bike upthere for this! I know so many people that have gone up and apparently the twisties are AWESOME!

 

I would love to make it but I doubt I would be able to. The wife is on a Suby forum all the time and they go there all the time. I have seen many pics from up there and it would be an awesome place to drive!!!!

 

I go once a year with another forum for Celicas.

Last year there were TONS of Honda S2000's and some WRX's.

I took my SC300 last year.

I was going to take my 72 Celica THIS year but since I had to part it out from the rust damage, I'm taking the SC again. Wouldn't mind beefing up the Volvo a bit suspension wise and taking a run, but its my daily funbox at this point.


My SC is getting overhauled in the suspension department over the next few months:

New bushings for most suspension parts.
New Supra TT TRD struts (got them from a guy who got laid off)
NIB Espelir ASD springs (Also from the same guy, just bought them later)
Sumitomo tires on my 17's (255/45/17)

Might ****** up this Supra TT front sway bar with Daizen bushings for $50, but we'll see.


Also need to get my Bilsteins for the back of the 850 because the current ones are...heh.....destroyed. I have never seen a car bounce this much.
