That is awesome. She is a Volvo lover for life.

My name is pretty straight forward. It is the name of the awesome parts company I would for.

Mine is a combo of my first name initial and the first few letters of my last name. R. Spi****. I by nature like to investigate things so when I look at it I think "Robert the Spi (spy)".

I'm a desert racer for life, and I usually drive a ridiculous suburban. Put the two together, along with the way we Dez rats usually spell 'dezert' and there ya go.

I'm a carpet cleaner. One thing people ask us to get out is burn marks from their cigarettes, stupidity, and whatnot. Since, that's obviously impossible as the carpet is ruined, we call them burn stains for kicks... That's what came to mind when I needed a username for this forum. I was originally only going to ask a couple questions on here and thought a pointless username no one would understand would do. Soon after I realize that such helpful people are on here, plus I already ran across some problems on my Volvo and I felt inclined to help others with the same problems. My 240 grew on me fast after I created this account. Not sure what other username I would have used had I been serious about it at the time...

I chose my forum ID Volgrrr, to convey two thoughts (1) combining the first part of the name with the growl of the exhaust (i.e. Vol + grrr) and (2), to drive such an apparently docile vehicle at somewhere near it's performance potential might appear to some people to be rather vulgar (hence Volgrrr = vulgarrr).

Default Handle?

One of my hobbies is collecting and restoring antique and vintage knives. One of my favorite handle/scale materials comes from the antlers of certain deer species and is known as stag. The finest stag with the best, gnarliest texture/figure comes from a species that inhabits Eastern Asia known as the Sambar deer. And by the way, I use this name in some other forums.

Adopted by Americans in 1993 from Russia. Came to states in 1994. Looked Bill Clinton in the eye getting my citizenship. Got a passion for the cars, trucks and whatnot. Got extreamly sick (heavy metal poisoning almost killed me), put on bed rest 2 months. Got better. Moved forward. 100% independent of my parents now; I know where im going, have the drive to do it, and proud of it.

So

Lifesgoodhere. Where ever I am. Because life has been good to me.

MattyXXL

Well my name is Mat...
My grandmother used to call me matty

In college they used to call me matty doubles because my initials are MGG (double G)

When i started working in aviation I had my boss order me a XXL de-icing suit.. just so I could fit my camelback over my jacket and underneath the suit and I could be comfortable at the same time... and the name kinda stuck..
that and mat-jack-*** or the jackass-onus

So there it goes.... the evolution of my screen name.... You should all feel honored for reading this.

Mine is pretty self explanatory.....

I drive an 850 that looks like a brick, and is the same colour as dirty concrete as my mother says.

I scratch build Giant Scale model aircraft. Most of mine are in the 10 to 14 foot wingspan range with engines up to 450cc. Since I don't fly ARF models, or build from kits, I build from sticks, thus the handle, Stickbuilder.
