Cool Whats your favorite classic 1979 or older

Hello I have read the What was your first car post that a member posted, so i thought I would post something similar. Mine is What is your favorite classic car 1979 or older? if possible post a picture or link to a picture if you want. You do not have to previously owned the car just your favorite.

My favorite is of course 1979 volvo 262c silver exterior and black interior with a manual transmission.

BMW 2002; 1976 was last MY; just fun to drive, period! Mine's been gone for over 10 yrs now...

I was seriously hoping they would resurrect that model in 2002, but didn't happen...

That is actually a '78 Bertone. I use to own a '79. (A '81 for sale on eBay now: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_rdc=1&item=300459959498&ru =http%3A%2F%2Fshop.ebay.com%3A80%2F%3F_from%3DR40% 26_trksid%3Dp3907.m570.l1313%26_nkw%3D300459959498 %26_sacat%3DSee-All-Categories%26_fvi%3D1&viewitem= )

Mine is the 1964 Buick Riviera. Sweet, sweet ride.

the one on ebay is not that bad. I prefer the vinyl top though, for some reason. So why did you get rid of your 79 rspi?

I actually gave it away. Sold it to someone for $138.74. It had the V6 Renault motor that had a lower cam shaft bearing knock, rust, and ac was going out. Would have cost to much to restore so I let it go and purchased a new car for my wife. I've thought about getting another one but would put the turbo I4 in it. The V6 was a nice strong engine but had cam bearing problems.

I don't know, just know it was knocking. When it started I put some slick 50 in it. Figured it couldn't hurt. My thoughts was to replace the motor with the i4 turbo or the v-8 conversion but the car had to much rust.
