Unhappy AQ115 problems after head refit.

Hi folks, this is my first post. bought a boat last year with a sick AQ115. Problem was a worn cam lobe on No4 cylinder ( think its 4 nearest bell housing), replaced the cam with I think a K Cam from amazoncars here in the UK. put a new set of followers in and the head was skimmed, pressure tested and then put back on. backed off all the push rod adjusters on the rocker assembly. When I rotated the engine by hand the push rods on 1 and 3 cylinders are really tight ( although the adjusters are backed right off), the profaile of the new cam didn't look that much different than the old one ( except the worn lobe) . The follows are all in as they should be and the pushrods are seated correctly. I wouldn't of though a head skim would have made that much difference. is it a case of just lifting the rocker assembly with some shimmed washers ?
Any help or thoughts would be appreciated.
Cheers, Steve
