So long story short, I was letting my buddy drive my boat and we clipped some rocks with the prop. We barely felt anything when it happened and didn’t see the rocks until we were right overtop of them. The boat drove fine for about 30 minutes after and then when we were cruising, it suddenly stopped as if going into neutral. After getting towed in, I found out huge chunks missing from the prop and that reverse still works. I also found oil with tiny metal particles leaking from the top bellow/boot that goes from the outdrive to the engine. With the boat on the trailer/engine off, the prop moves in drive as if it were neutral, but in reverse it does not move. I’m very new to boats and this is my first boat, so sorry if the terms are wrong and what not. Any suggestions on where to look would be greatly appreciated. TIA
