I have a 2000 Chris Craft 210 bow rider that I cooked the motor in. I unknowingly overheated it and likely warped the heads as there is water in some of the cylinders and the compession readings are way low on 6 of the 8 cylinders. It was a salt water boat before I got it and since the boat itself is in great condition, I am considering replacing the engine with a. ATK Remanufactured marine crate 5.7L GM engine, from JEGS which is a direct replacement for the OEM motor. Is this the direction I should go and what hurdles can I expect to encounter?
