I have a volvo kad32 and leg with the oem trim gauge part number 872498. the lcd display had died. a replacement gauge is an astronomical price. It has also been superseded with part number24198066 which also requires the sale of a kidney.

Then there is also the issue of freight to down here in the land of the Hobbit !

Has anyone had experience with changing it for an aftermarket gauge? it has a rather complex plug and many wires. Im happy to cut the plug off and interface into an aftermarket gauge.

Has anyone had the LCD replaced? Know a source of the LCD module?

Open to any other suggestions.
