seek to rebuild my 1992 240 wagon manual 5 speed transmission. cannot shift into 1st without great effort, tho slips into other gears well once moving. car has @300,000 miles, so i think it is due. clutch appears ok. 1 mechanic thinks it is probably the synchro gear(s). what should this cost?
