Looking for the following:

97 850R front bumper cover, just needs to be repairable. If anyone had a perfect white one, I'd be willing to pay more for it as I wouldn't need to have it refinished - but I know that's a tall bill to fit.

97 850R drivers seat cover, with the ivory / light brown color leather/suede.

Rear tailgate spoiler that fits 97 850R Wagon

Don't take a deep breath and hold... you'll be better off getting those things new.

 

Well, I could always take a trip to the nearest volvo dealer - I do have a couple recalls that need addressed.

I think I found a lead on a good bumper cover, which is probably the most important to me... not new, but one that would require a whole lot less work to whip into shape than the original. Wish me luck!

 

Cool. The east and west coast are the best shots at those used parts. The rest of us are left dreaming. LOL Hope it works out for you.

 

The junkyard thing didn't work out. Called my nearest Volvo dealer, nice people there. The seat skin is unfortunately discontinued. The lower is still available, but the upper is not.

The bumper cover is $530 out the door including tax. The few places I've seen them new online are $400 + $100 to ship, so I think I may grab one from the dealer if my original cannot be repaired.

I wonder.... could I find a drivers side seat skin from a 850R in Europe? Theoretically, the drivers seat wears because it gets the most use. Perhaps a European car would have less wear because the seat that is the drivers seat in the US is the passenger seat in Europe?

 

Well, I found a good used bumper cover. If it survives being shipped from the far West coast to Indiana, all I need is some paint work

Spoiler is purchased and here, it'll get painted the same time the bumper cover does.

Never found a solid lead on the seat covers. Nothing panned out. I have a feeling I'll have to wait til I either find a decent drivers seat skin, or am willing to spend the $1200 or so it costs to get a new set of all 3 seat covers from Elwood Industries.

 

Bumper cover apparently fell through. Anybody got a R bumper cover they are looking to sell? Mine is not repairable.

 

I've got 2 front seats i'd be willing to swap, and they're in pretty good condition. Let me know what kind of price you're looking for.

Can get the Elwood Industries skins for $300/piece - need 4 of them to replace all 4, but I could replace only the damaged one for $300 - but it'd match better if I did all 4 skins.
