Working on 242 Ford Mustang V8 swap, need manual trans/clutch/crossmember info. Bought unused/abandoned Converse Engrg kit, but kit is for auto trans. Any one done this swap? Cable operated clutch or hydraulic? Watched "Chasing Classic Cars" TV show today, showed clutch adjustment on former Paul Newman 960 wagon with Kenne Bell blown 5.0 V8 and CABLE actuation.
Will buy/sell/trade info. Converse Engrg do not answer phone, website inop, so can't get any help from them. Out of business? retired? dead?
Want to see how others have done clutch/trans/crossmember & pedal assembly and were they happy with their results? Some say use hyd. pedal/master from 740, but can't find one. Saw referral to cable from Converse with Volvo/Mustang ends.
