I have a couple that I just replaced with after market speakers, they work fine and are in good shape. I will snap a couple of pictures if your interested, cost? Just pay for postage, I live on the West coast of Canada but postage shouldn't be more then $15 or so...? Jeremy

 

Hi, Jeremy... thanks for the offer. Are they from a V70, or from your 850 wagon? I'm not really sure about cross reference, but believe the speakers I need are only in a V70 or S60 in the 2001 and up range. Let me know, or send me a photo and I'll be happy to pay the postage for us enough for an adult beverage for your help.

 

I thought they were the same 5 1/4" speakers? I will snap a couple of pics and post them ASAP.

 

I have a couple of these, both in good shape. They are 5 1/4" across the cone and center to center diagonally to the mounting holes is 5 3/4"

they look different from the ones in my rear doors. The ones in my car have strange mounting bracket that aren't on the ones out of your car. I guess I'll keep beating the bushes and see if anyone has something I can bolt straight in. I suppose my other option would be to get an improved pair of aftermarket speakers and do some fabrication, but I'm trying to avoid that. Thanks!

 

All that matters is the size of the opening, even if only two mounting holes match up your fine.........there here if you want. ;-)
