I've got an engine and transmission out of a 1998 V90 for sale. I'm in southeastern NC, so we'd have to work out a pickup/freight situation.

I'm doing an LS1 swap, and would like to see the current motor/transmission go to a good home. Even though I have no future use for the motor/trans, while in my possession, I have treated it normally. Oil changes, morning warmups, ect. I'd feel bad neglecting a motor in this good of shape.

255,000 miles, and everything runs like new. No leaks, timing belt serviced recently, and runs smoothly as can be. I bought the car from a Volvo dealership about 5,000 miles ago, and it had served as their loaner car for years.

I just drove the car round trip from NC to Philly and back and got great mileage.

The only thing I can complain about is the AC, which blows ice cold for about 30 minutes then fades out. Turn the car off and back on again, and it's back to ice cold.

What are you looking to get for them?

 

$800 for both seems fair.

I forgot to mention the engine/trans comes out March 24, so if you're close and want a test drive, I'd be happy to oblige. I can also send video or more photos. It really does run shockingly well for having a quarter million miles. Maybe that's normal, I'm new to this Volvo thing.
