I know it's in poor taste to post an item for sale on your first post but I usually hang around the land rover boards so I know that this is the first place you go to post a car that might seem a little too specialized for the general market; so here goes:

CL AD:
1992 Volvo 740 Silver 100K

I am selling my Grandfathers 1992 Volvo 740, He drove it for the first 65K miles, my father then drove it another 25K and I have put 10K on it in the last few years.

It's been garage kept its entire life, I use it to occasionally drive to Long Island to keep the moving parts, well, moving. But I bought another car so something needs to get bumped out of the stable.

Plenty of receipts for work completed, most recently has had the timing belt replaced, front oil seals done, also replaced the oil breather as I heard they can become filled with oil over time (mechanic showed me replaced part, no oil buildup but better safe than sorry), new fuel pump relay, valve cover gasket replaced, transmission serviced (at 80K), oil changed, newer tires, fixed the power antennae.
Bone Stock! no real rust to speak of, except for the door bottom pictured, also my father pulled off the driver side overhead handle (the oh ****! handle) and I can't, for the life of me, figure out how they go back on.

Dash is 99%, no cracking or sun damage, same with the interior, same with the engine bay. Original radio, car has been in my family since mile 1.

Drive wonderfully, would be a great candidate for a v8 transplant if someone was looking for a clean 740

Asking $5200 on CL, Forum price of $4200 seem more reasonable based on mileage and condition.

Open to offers, please don't low ball too much as I don't need to sell this vehicle and I just recently posted it locally.
