Up for your consideration is a 1996 850 Sportswagon 20v I5 that needs to go home with someone who has the time and inclination to turn it back into the superstar it once was. Current mileage 191xxx.

Asking $500 due to location and maintenance needs. (and to make things interesting)

Currently averages 20 mpg with mostly short trip and town driving.

Good:
All airbags intact
Recent rear calipers & pad replacement
Right rear suspension bushing replaced recently
Solid body
Almost all electronics & power function (seat adjusts have quit)
Good rubber (not high speed rated but solid)
Goes like a raped ape

Not so good:
Front windshield has several cracks
Uses oil (some drip, some burn at idle) - most likely needs valve guides
Needs shock bushings (squeaky)
Parking brake inoperative
Driver seat leather is well worn
Rear door cover is gone
AC not working
ABS/ASC starting to throw codes intermittently but both seem to work

Vehicle is located in Central Nebraska and I don't have time to meet you anywhere but 1-2 hours from here.
