Default 1998 S70 (196K) - Southern CA

UPDATE: SOLD

Selling my 1998 S70 (black with tan/beige interior; automatic transmission) - just over 196,500 miles and still running strong. Asking $1000, but willing to negotiate. (Also willing to ship.)

It's been in my family since 2001 (1998-2001 was a lease vehicle with low miles). Was in low usage between 2009-2013 as it was a third car for my parents. Cross country trips in 2014 and 2016 with no issues. I've driven it since 2013, but haven’t even put 7,000 miles on it over the past two years.

Never had a major mechanical issue and has been well-maintained (regular oil changes, mileage maintenance). I have a stack of service records dating back to early 2000s. I can also give you the name of the mechanics who serviced it, both here and in Tennessee.

Recently replaced:
Front brakes (Sep. 2017)
Rear brakes (Nov. 2016)
Radiator (Jan. 2018)
Air mass meter boot (Dec. 2017)

Passed smog test in March 2017.

Needs to be replaced:
Air flow sensor (may do this next weekend, April 21)

Needs some cosmetic love (front leather seats are worn, large dent in passenger rear door) Happy to answer any questions about service/maintenance, what I've replaced, etc. Also wanted to say thanks as I've been a long time lurker around here.

Located in Los Angeles (but lived most of its life in Knoxville, Tennessee)

Tried to take pictures of the dent, but with the shiny black paint, it's hard to see (you mostly get reflections of surroundings). In fact, in one of the pictures of a dent it looks like there's a large paint scrape leading up from the dent, but it's in fact just a reflection of something else.

I have the front seats covered and I'm showing the car this weekend, so I didn't want to take the whole seat cover off, so I apologize I don't have better pictures of the leather seats. They're worn for sure, but not ridiculously so.

If you're interested, I can send you more pictures. The forum isn't letting me upload them today.

As it says above, it passed smog in March 2017. Just paid for registration for the next year.

It has to be smogged for a sale though, unless the last test was within 90 days.
