Default Feeler: 1997 854R for sale

My 97 850R Sedan is probably going up for sale. Trying to simplify my life a little.

Polar White w/tan interior, light birch dash and 115,800ish miles. I got it with just under 80K on the clock. Have not driven it winters, though I can't speak for it's former life.

Volans with reasonable tread on the tires (a little curb rash on the Volans). Spare tire also is mounted on a Volan. PCV replaced and new brakes last fall, timing belt and tune-up done when I purchased it. Other items replaced include rear shock mounts, upper engine mount, heater core and probably other stuff I can't think of right now. Tranny fluid replaced shortly after purchased. Comes with some extra items like new coolant hoses (standard, not silicone). Also would include a pair of black/white prancing moose stickers (never applied to the car)!

Has a few small dents and the paint on the front spoiler could stand a touch-up. Is leaking a little oil, possibly from one of the oil cooler hoses, but definitely not a rear main seal issue.

Thinking $4200. PM me if interested. Located in northeast Ohio.

Not even a peep. Hard to believe there's zero interest.

Remembered another item... both front half-shafts replaced because the boots were torn and slinging grease.

Will be posting on Craigslist locally as soon as I get some better pictures. Been nothing but rain here the last week and a half.

Man, put it on CraigsList and sell it. I have sold several very nice Volvos and none have sold on enthusiast forms like this.

I just purchased a "proclaimed" desired '98 S70 T5, fixed it up real good and sold it locally for well under blue book because I needed a quick sale. It had less than 106,000 miles on it and a ton of work. I did have one guy offer to swap me a '95 850 for it but I was in no position to do a trade.

The car looks nice and I hope you get it sold.

I'm interested in the car if you're still willing to sell it.

I just noticed that the low fuel light is not on. Is the bulb out?

Why would the low fuel light be on when the tank is almost full?

Edit: Maybe you were thinking the display was set to miles to zero? The display is set to average MPG.

LOL, you are correct. My bad, I was looking at the trip computer and not the gas gauge. I seen the tiny arrow instead of the bar.

Definitely craigslist is the way to go. I would lower price a bit. Ask 4200 OBO and go from there. I don't know what part of the country you are in. Prices vary throughout.

that sure would look good parked next to my 97 855R, same paint and interior color. And I'm in Indiana. Unfortunately, it's a bad time for me to even consider it.

Good luck with the sale!
