There is a NEW 2001 V70 transmission for sale on Detroit Metro Craigslist for $1500, listed under "auto parts, Volvo". I called and spoke to fellow, seems he owns shipping company and NEW 2001 transmission was "tipped over" as he put it, breaking bands on pallet. he says no damage. insurance company bought new replacement and he is stuck with it. Could be a steal for someone!
