I have a working scan tool and as I closed my shop I no longer use it. I'm looking to sell it but have no idea of it's value.
I do also have the connector for older cars.
Any thoughts?

Thanks for the feedback - yes I did see that one in my search and I contacted the seller who was polite and has an interesting story.
No matter how much he is trying to regain losses on other sales -NOBODY will ever pay that much for a 20 year old tool.
My argument was that is the same price as my old C70 convertible is worth today on the market.
I can stretch myself to $500 plus shipping but there are thousands of other similar on the market and from China, but the risk being that they are not original they are not able to correct the programming needed.
As time goes by there will be less and less of these old vehicles still running and one day they will be all scrapped and the tool can go to a museum! LOL

There is a huge number of people tracking applications now. and it shows how safety is a relative word.

Yvonne - this is an old told for old cars. Very few still around and they ones who have it don't sell it and the ones do are asking for some seriously ridiculous overprices. There is only one on eBay and he wants $5000. It's a joke! Most cars that is works with are either scrapped or in museums and so will this tool be soon.
