They are widely available. Shipping would be the biggest expense. Here in the US we all try to get Euro lights...

Those lamps are just universal, sealed beam units that would fit any car with 4 rectangular headlamps. So you can get those at any auto parts store in the US. Rockauto.com is my current favorite online auto parts store.

Since they fit anything, you might think there would be a european importer, but maybe no demand in this case. I have always heard that Europe's headlights were better.

Why would you not want to keep the euro lights!? The American ones make your car look sad in my mind but the European ones make your car look aggressive (just my thought).

The euro ones are usually brighter due to the differences in regulations from our country to yours.

But to each their own.

Link to rock auto: RockAuto Parts Catalog

Low beam regular is a 4656, the brighter halogen H4656
High beam regular is a 4651, the brighter halogen H4651

We (in the U.S.) love the E codes and they (in Europe) love the American style head lights. That's the way to go....

Hello.

I just bought a 1987 740. It has sold as tourist and diplomatic sales to Chicago.

Now I'm looking for new USA lights.

Can someone please help me, where I can find all the parts for it?
