this is a bit of a wild hair but I have to give it a shot...

I've got a well-loved 2000 V40 with 148k miles on it. I've had it 11 years and used it mostly as a utility vehicle the past few years. It blew a head gasket and got quite hot a few weeks ago. My mechanic said it could possibly be rebuilt or would need a new engine. Needing an operating car, I couldn't wait. It was towed and is likely not drivable in its current state.

I know I can get a tax deduction by donating it. I would rather think it will be back on the road to hit 200k+ like I always wanted. My dream is there is a Volvo lover who has the time and knowledge to give it a second life. If there is anyone out there that is interested, please message me, I'm happy to give you service records and my mechanic's number as well as provide photos. It is taking up needed garage space so I need to disposition it sometime soon.

That is an outstanding offer. I am looking a s40 or an s60. If AZ wasn't so far awayfrom Colorado I'd take you up on that. I hope you find a good volvo home .
