Hi all,

I can't get my car into my mechanic until Monday morning, so I wanted to see if anyone had a similar encounter!

Today while driving, when I let off the acceleration, my car made a high pitched whining noise. When I accelerated, it stopped. When I park, my RPM is upto 2k!!!!

I have 91k on the car, and had 80k service done, and also last oil change was around 86k mark.


Does anyone have any theories what I might be facing for a repair? Vacuum? Alternator? Timing belt? Junk my car? (Kidding on last part lol).
