So one of my questions about the Volvo as an overall car maker was the longevity of their products. After seeing this guys car, which has seen more action then Rambo and is still going...albeit barely, I am 100% on board. It looks to me like they had to blow it up because the impact after being shot off the cliffs edge didn't really damage this tank much.

I kinda feel bad for the kid in this video. They destroyed his Volvo and only gave him a Jeep for compensation.

That old Volvo is a tank. I think the explosives at the end were more necessary in breaking the car up than it was for show.

 

That wasn't near as bad as I thought it would be. I wish they would have turned it over and let us check it out before they blew it up.

 

I expected it be worse. Those old ones are built like a brick shipyard.

 

I just found this blog written about this video. It's absolutely hilarious! But if your friends with the guy from the video, you may want to avoid it, it's a pretty harsh review. ahah, but hilarious.
