Hi I just bought my first car a few weeks ago... an 87 24p dl.. Overall it seems to be in ok shape, but theres a few things I would like to fix. The main one is this weird creepy sticky tube that sticks out below the dash of the passenger side.




Its a total mess, Im not even sure if you can see whats going on just from a picture. Does anyone know what this pipe is? I assume the black stuff was a quick fix for a leak, but if its not too much of a process to fix Id like to replace it at some point..

 

That definitely looks like it should go to your heater core...
