Default 2018 XC60 High Beam Malfunction

Hi, I am new to the forum and what drove me here is an experience I am currently having with my 2018 Volvo XC60 T6 R-Design. I love the car... but.... I had been getting a High Beam headlamp malfunction error on the dash and I could see that my Right hand High beam was out. Everything else worked fine....low beam...Active bending working fine on both... Left side high and low working fine. I took it to the dealership. They told me the right side control module was bad and had to be replaced - $1,500 parts and labor. I said WOW, but hey... premium car, premium prices. OK please fix it.

They valeted it to me and when I got in it I had the exact same error but for the left side... Strange.. SO I took it back to the dealership and they sent me a text saying they needed another $3000 to finish fixing the right hand side (replacing the whole headlamp assembly parts and labor) AND... they needed another $4,400 to repair the left hand side (Parts and labor for replacing the control module and entire headlamp assembly). I, of course, am extremely stressed about this. I asked... how can I bring in the car with just a right hand high beam out and will have to shell out $9,000!?!?! Well, says the service rep... "sometimes when you are fixing one part, other parts go bad...."

What?!? I am 2 months out of my CPO warranty and they have me over a barrel. I can't drive the vehicle unless I just want it to be my daytime car.

What would you do? I have not exaggerated any part of this in any way.
