I have had my new XC60 2023 Recharge for 2 weeks and had numerous issues with the battery, car dying, EV not charging past 33%. I have read about problems with the 2022 model, but not seen any issues like I am experiencing with my new 2023 model. I am thinking of returning the car. Does anyone have perspective what may be causing the following issues:
Day 1: Car goes into limp mode in first 6 hours, shortly after EV battery goes to 0 miles. I drove the car home 10 mph and the road side assistance said the 12V battery simply fell below 35% causing the car to move into limp mode. The dealer believes they may have left the car doors open and drained the 12V while they installed tinted rear glass that morning. However, they really don't know for sure this was the reason. I saw another thread where this was a significant issue in the 2022 models but I was told it was fixed. Is there a software update I need to specifically ask about?
Day 6: After driving the XC60 for 40 - 50 miles, I park it in a car lot for 45 mins for an appointment. When I return the car will not turn on cycling through the error messages shown. Each time I would turn starter ****, all the dashboard lights would appear but car does not start. It gives message: "Car Start System Check, Wait". Then new message, "Turn start **** to start car" and when I do that the entire cycle keeps repeating. Road side assistance came 30 mins later and the car started for him without any problems.
Day 13/14: For the past 2 days, when charged the EV battery it stops charging at 33%. Then yesterday it charged fully to 100%. I used the same EV pod and cannot understand why the EV suddenly won't charge fully. Today it again stops charging before fully reaching 100%.
