XC60 Xc60 electrics
My XC60 is 18 months old and on three separate occasions within the past year it has been completely dead after having left it for only a week each time while on holiday. Has required a technician to start it or a tow truck to get it back to dealers. First time auxiliary battery was replaced. Last two times no real explanation other than needed software updates to fix the ‘Bug’ draining the battery. Not confident to leave it in an airport car park and expect it to start when I get back. Any one else had similar problems?
On two occasions my car has died after driving it. I park it, come back an hour later and it's completely dead. The car will not start, jump, nor can it be put into neutral. The first time (6 months ago) the service department said it could've been a software issue. We'll see what happens this time after they diagnose it!
PS
Volvo Assistance is a joke - took 3 days to get a tow company that would agree to tow it without signing a waiver for damages. They are nice on the phone, but inept on scheduling the proper tow company to tow it.
