As of now Volvo North America has decided to pay to have my XC90 brought to another dealer 1.25 hours from Baton Rouge La and are paying to return the auto back to me and are supplying me with a car for my wife to get around in. As a recap I have used 4 dealers as I have moved around with my job and the only dealer that I have had a problem with is formerly Duplessis Volvo know known as All Star Volvo part of the All Star group but still under the same management just a different owner. This has pushed me to ask Volvo what is the deal with this dealer and they stated that in the first 3 weeks of the new owners rule they have had 5 complaints by customers that are all in line with mine and all were former customers like myself, they can't fix my car so they refuse to when brought back again and again and there customer service is horrible. Please if your are going to buy from them or get service from them get to know Rusty Barrows the worst service manager in history and then decide if you want to deal with them.

This dealer and group of managers gives Volvo a respected company all over the world a huge black eye.

As for Volvo Co. I'm very sorry that this group of people and dealer work under your umbrella they are not worthy. I don't hold you responsible for the actions of a few. I love my Volvos and hope that one day all of this will be resolved and you honer and dignity will be restored.

Oh Dec. 6th a driver is coming to get my XC90 and leave a car for me and will return it when the work is finished at Volvo's expense to keep the Baton Rouge dealer from having to ever touch my auto ever again.

 

That is pretty good of Volvo to do that. I hate bad dealers.

 

With Volvo North America doing this it in itself says a lot about this dealership and the quality of work and the customer service quality as well.

 

1. Don't worry I have posted your comment related to All Star Volvo and I wrote about it so other customers won't go through your same experience. Hopefully this dealer will shut it's doors and not make a shame out of the perfect crafted swedish brand.
