It isn't like a need item, but it is something nice to stiffen up the front end. So YES get it.

It doesn't look like IPD makes one or sells one for the S60 series.

Also it looks like EST doesn't sell one either for the S60 series.

Also it seems VIVA Performance doesn't sell a brace for them either.

I would call these places and see if they will be making them or selling some from another vendor. I would also check Volvo dealership they may have one, because I know they make them for like the 850's/70 series Volvo's.

thanks s70... from what i have heard they are the best for the money second only to tires... and that was my experience in my old car, so i think i will do it... they are secondary to some other things though.

wht about springs... how low should you go? 1.25" off?

Well IPD sway bars are the best suspension investment you will ever do. So get them.

Well how low do you want to go? In my 1995 850 n/a I lowered 1.6" with some APEX Suspension System springs, loved them.

I would lower it like 1.5" unless you do KW coilovers which would be awsome.

Not sure if they make the Strut tower braces the Engine mount Brace would act almost like the Strut tower brace.
If you look closely it looks like a really nice and hidden one.
