Default `91 940 Loose Caliper Bracket Bolts

My girlfriend has a recently aquired `91 940 that we've been replacing one piece at a time. She's heard a clunk when stepping on the brakes recently and today it got _WORSE_... violent shaking... sticking brakes once she was off the petal, nasty noise, etc. So i took it apart.

On the passenger side, both of the bolts (10mm hex/allen socket) were loose. I could grab the caliper and move it around manually. Tightened those up, and problem persisted. So I took apart the driver's side and found the top bolt completely missing and the bottom bolt loose. Also - whatever garage touched the car last installed all of the lug nuts inside out, and torqued them hard enough with an impact gun to shave some of the metal off. So - a couple questions:

1) Is this a typical problem on this year/make/model?

2) I need to replace the missing bolt. I check the major parts folks ipd and volvo world) and as I expected, no sign of these bolts. I drive a jeep and there are a ton of specialty jeep junkyards that will sell/mail you these misc parts. Are there any of those around for volvos?

3) To make sure this doesn`t happen again, I`m going to add a little loctite next time. I know red compound means you need a torch to remove it, which I don't have. Any reccomendations for what level of loctite is appropriate?

Caliper mounting bolts should be available from Volvo. I bought a couple about a month ago from my local dealer. They came with Loctite red on them.
