‘94 940 turbo wagon
You have to pry out the overdrive switch with a small flat screwdriver. Unsolder the two wires. Pull the **** straight up, and that's on really, really, tight--it takes superhuman strength. What I do is get a big open end wrench that fits under the **** snugly around the base and pry it up. You may have to use a piece of wood positioned to pivot the wrench up for leverage. Then the new **** just snaps on but you need to feed the OD button's wires up first through the hole (they are not very long) and resolder them onto the switch (fiddly). Then push the button back in.
