18" wheels
Hi All,
I own a 940 Turbo single cam A/T.
Got some questions here:
1. I'd like to put on an 18" wheel but there are not much choice for Volvo wheels here in Indonesia. Decided to put a Brabus or Carlsson wheels originally for merc 124. What do i do? change the pcd for sure but what is the right offset?
2. How can I make it lower?
3. there isa time lag for the turbo to kick in resulting in a knocking sounds when i press the gas pedal. Any way to overcome this?
Thanks y'all. Appreciate the replies.

RE: 18" wheels
Welcome to the forum.
1. I would do a GOOGLE search to figure out what your offset is. And or contact Volvo.
2. Search the forum. Also use these two threads to help you.

Also you will have to figure out if your car has IRS or doesn't have IRS. EST has springs for the 700/900 series Volvo's without IRS. So these would possibly work for your car if you don't have IRS. You can find EST in the links provided above.
Also IPD USA has lowering springs for the 940 sedans and wagons without IRS. Again so if your car doesn't have IRS then most likely these will work.
